We really like those practical fire transitions we saw in several music videos. The filmmakers burned printed-out still frames in front of the camera to get a great transition. We wanted to transform this effect into a pre-built easy to use transition for post production.
After many attempts and iterations with burning paper in front of a greenscreen (and some burn blisters) we are very happy to present this unique transition package to you. You won’t find this effect of this quality as a pre-built transition anywhere else. We are very proud of this transition package and hope that you will enjoy it as much as we did when we created it.
BURNING SLOMO COLORS
You can easily adjust the color of the fire with simple hue effects in your editing software. The transition MOVs are about two seconds long, but since we rendered them at 48fps, you can burn your shots slowly for up to four seconds. Simply adjust the speed of the clip in your timeline and you’re ready to go.
